"If you can think it, we can make it."
A five-bay inline stable installed within a fenced yard. Uses the Guerilla Steel ply and mesh system to provide secure, flexible housing for multiple horses.
Build It Your Way
Candice wanted more than five individual stables. The new stable complex needed to fit naturally within the existing paddock, provide secure accommodation for a growing number of horses and leave room for future expansion.
Installed directly onto grass, the 20-metre-long stable was positioned along the paddock boundary, allowing the structure to work as both horse accommodation and an internal dividing fence. By avoiding a concrete slab, the owners were able to create a practical working stable while keeping the site flexible for future changes.
A small but important design change also made this project unique. Rather than using the standard roof orientation, the 900mm overhang was reversed to better suit the property’s layout, improving weather protection where it was needed most.
The stable wasn’t simply placed beside the paddock. It became part of how the property functions every day.
Several design decisions were made specifically to suit the site’s conditions rather than following a standard layout.
This project shows that a large horse stable doesn’t always need a concrete slab.

Ideal for owners with several horses or growing herds who need durable, low-stress housing that expands easily as their setup grows. The inline layout integrates naturally with existing fencing, turning open paddocks into defined, functional horse zones without losing space – perfect for large properties or owners considering agistment.
Airflow, visibility, and solid containment make it a reliable choice for managing multiple horses safely and efficiently. The ply and mesh combination cleans quickly, dries fast, and holds up to daily use, perfect for owners who prefer easy upkeep over weekend repairs.
Duragal® alloy coating and smart ventilation protect against humidity, salt air, and temperature swings across Queensland and New South Wales.
Extend with a covered walkway between bays or leading to a tack room for smoother access and cleaner movement on wet days.
Swap selected panels for rear swing-through custom gates to connect back paddocks and streamline daily rotation between yards.
Attach an additional bay for feed storage, wash-down space, or a sheltered work area, all modular and ready to integrate.
For high-traffic areas, adding a compacted base improves drainage, footing, and long-term wear without altering the structure.

Every Guerrilla Steel project follows a simple principle: build once, build right. The process focuses on practical planning, precision manufacturing, and long-term durability so the stable becomes a lasting asset—whether you plan to use it as a permanent structure or relocate and reconfigure the modular panels later.
The process begins with choosing the right configuration for your property, horses, and daily workflow. Stable size, layout, ventilation, and site access are considered so the structure works with your land and long-term plans.
Each stable is fabricated in the Guerrilla Steel workshop using Australian RHS steel framing, welded panels, and durable roofing materials. Manufacturing in a controlled environment ensures consistency, strength, and long service life.
Modular panels are delivered ready for assembly. Many customers install the system themselves using the DIY friendly flat-pack design, while others choose professional installation. Either way, the modular system keeps the build straightforward and predictable.
Once installed, the stable becomes part of the property’s working infrastructure. Routine checks, cleaning, and occasional maintenance keep the structure performing for decades while protecting the horses inside.

Morgan and his off sider are brilliant at their trade. He retrofit 4 stables for me into my large farm shed. The work was excellent and the quality was exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. 100% Aussie steel and hand made.
