Base Model Specifications

Need just the technical details? - You can download the full Base Model Specification Sheet, the same info shown below, in a handy PDF format for planning or builder discussions.

Every Guerilla Steel stable starts with a fully welded, 50x50mm RHS galvanised steel frame. Locally made and engineered for real Aussie conditions, this frame delivers unmatched strength, rigidity, and weather resistance year after year.

Serious Strength Meets Smart Design At 2.4m high, our shelters feel bigger, breathe better, and handle the heat. The generous roof clearance and open ventilation keep your horses comfortable, while the solid weld construction means no rattles, warping, or weak joints,  just long-term durability you can trust.

Low Maintenance, High Value Tough, rust-resistant, and built to last, this frame isn’t just for show. it’s a long-term investment that adds lasting value to your property and peace of mind to your setup.

Half-height swing gate (1200mm W x 1290mm H), is a standard inclusion. designed for safe, easy access with clear visibility and secure containment. Perfect for daily handling, feeding, and stable management.

Custom Options to Suit Your Setup - Prefer something different? Choose from sliding doors, Dutch-style gates, or extra-wide breezeway access.  Alll engineered for strength, smooth operation, and a premium finish that complements your stable layout.

Built to Breathe. Built to Protect. Our base model pairs 17mm black form ply below for weather protection and privacy with 4mm heavy-duty galvanised mesh above for airflow, visibility, and reduced heat stress.

Customise Your Setup. Mix and match open sections, full mesh, solid ply, or vertical bars to suit your horses, workflow, and layout. Every combo delivers a safe, functional, and great-looking stable that lasts.

Highly Recommended for All Installations - To make sure your shelter stays put in strong winds, we highly recommend anchor kits for every setup,  especially on non-concrete sites.

Secure in Any Setting - Whether on concrete, compacted road base, gravel, or well-prepared grass, our heavy-duty anchors keep your structure firmly grounded against wind and shifting soil.

Strong, Simple, Reusable - Quick to install, easy to remove, and fully reusable, these kits give your structure the staying power it needs, and the peace of mind you want, no matter the weather.

On Concrete? -  Pair with bolt-down plates for extra stability on slabs or footings.

Stramit® Monoclad ( or Lysaght Trimdek®) steel roof, chosen for its toughness, weather resistance, and long-term performance.

Guerilla Steel’s roofing includes a flat 900mm front overhang for vital shade and rain protection at the entry, a 100mm rear overhang to direct runoff away from the structure, and flush side finishes that keep the overall layout clean and yard-friendly.

Strong From the Top Down Our higher roofline and mesh-panel work together to naturally cool your stable, no gimmicks, just smart ventilation. We focus on durable structure and proven airflow, keeping your horses comfortable without sacrificing strength or clean design. These combinations don’t just perform, they help create a stable that’s safe, functional, and visually sharp.

Our frames are locally fabricated from DuraGal® steel and finished with a professional top coat to restore protection after fabrication, giving a clean look and lasting weather resistance.

To keep your structure strong and looking its best, we recommend a quick annual inspection and touch-up of any exposed welds or cuts with Cold Gal and/or Durgal Silver paint. View our Stable Maintenance article for tips. This simple bit of upkeep helps preserve both the finish and the long-term strength of your frame.
