A Complete Stable Complex That Keeps Horses and Equipment Together
Designed for a Brisbane South acreage, this project combined three full-size horse stables with a secure tack room in one practical layout. The owners wanted a stable that would cope with Queensland weather, simplify daily routines and provide secure storage without adding extra buildings around the property.
We built a fully welded modular stable with three enclosed 4m ร 4m bays and an integrated 2.5m ร 4m tack room. Installed onto a prepared concrete slab and securely anchored in place, the entire complex was completed in less than two days.
The finished stable gives each horse its own sheltered space while keeping feed, saddles and equipment only a few steps away.
Everything Needed for Day-to-Day Horse Care
Having the tack room built into the stable means less walking between buildings and everything stays protected from the weather.
- Three enclosed 4m ร 4m stable bays with full ply dividers and rear walls.
- Integrated 2.5m ร 4m lockable tack room for feed and equipment storage.
- Wide internal layout that makes feeding, cleaning and handling horses easier.
Built for Queensland Weather and Everyday Use
Every part of this stable works together to manage Queensland’s climate rather than simply keeping the weather out.
- The 2.5m roof height encourages natural airflow, helping hot air escape on warm days.
- A generous rear roof fall sheds rain quickly and keeps water moving away from the stable.
- Full rear ply walls provide extra shelter from wind and driving rain without restricting ventilation.
- Mesh front panels keep fresh air circulating while allowing horses to remain calm and aware of their surroundings.
A Modular Design That Can Grow With the Property
The modular design leaves plenty of flexibility for the future. Whether it’s adding more stables, extending the roofline or incorporating extra shelters, the structure can expand without replacing the original build.
