Options include yoke gates, Dutch gates, full-height gates and sliding anti-rearing gates. Gates can also be made wider, fitted with steel mesh in the upper section, or built with recessed latches. Two gate panels on the one stable can also be configured like the Figtree Thoroughbreds Mare & Foal Recovery Bays build.

Yes. We fabricate custom shelters, pens and enclosures for other animals, including bird aviaries and dog pens.

Options include full steel mesh panels, full-height mesh gates, open-front shelters and post-and-roof structures. Mesh size, access and layout can be tailored to the animals you keep and how you need to feed, clean and use the enclosure.

Yes. We can make custom-sized, welded steel grillesprotect existing shed windows from inside the stable. Fixing points and bar spacing are selected to suit the opening, supporting structure and horses using the space.

For low windows, a standard stable panel may cross the opening. We can discuss a panel with a cut-out or a lower rear panel that fits around the window, preserving light and ventilation without putting pressure on the window frame.

Optional sloped steel flashing can cover an exposed sill to discourage chewing and reduce the ledge available for a hoof. Send us the window measurements, sill height and photos of the surrounding shed wall so we can recommend a suitable fit.

For larger setups, fitting stable panels beneath a professionally installed shed can work well. The shed provides overhead weather protection, while leaving the individual bays open above allows air to circulate through the building.

Our 4-Bay Custom Black Retrofit combines a coordinated black finish with custom Dutch gates and full-width lower gates. It’s an example of how the finish and layout can work together to create the look you want while keeping everyday handling practical.

The High Airflow series has a roof pitch of approximately 3°, with a front panel extension lifting the roof 200mm above the gate. This adds headroom, improves ventilation through the bay and directs rain runoff to the rear.

Useful for taller breeds, maternity stables and also for warmer and wet climates. The extra airflow helps reduce heat and ammonia build-up around mares and new born foals.
