4 Bay Modular Horse Stable System – 16m x 4m
Four adjoining 4m x 4m horse stable bays built as a continuous modular unit with flat steel roofing, ply mesh panels and ground anchor kits. Suitable for breeders, trainers and multi-horse acreage setups.

A durable 4-bay modular stable built on grass, breeders and trainers strong, scalable, and ready for future expansion without rebuilds.
A safe, adaptable facility that manages multiple species efficiently today, and can expand to six or eight bays tomorrow without redesign or disruption.
The client needed a strong, low-maintenance stable system to house a mix of horses and smaller livestock ,each with different space, airflow, and handling needs.
Instead of multiple small shelters, they chose a modular 16-metre line: four connected 4 × 4 m bays, each standing 2.5 m tall and built for strength, airflow, and future growth.
Every bay combines galvanised steel framing with solid ply kickboards and mesh airflow panels for ventilation and clear sightlines. The flat-profile roofline sheds rain cleanly while keeping a low visual impact across the Samford Valley property.
Installed directly on grass without concrete or heavy excavation, the stable fits naturally into uneven rural ground and stays easy to maintain.
Built for real-world use. Tough enough for daily work, refined enough to grow with the property, and proof of Guerilla Steel’s “build once, expand anytime” philosophy in action.
Each 4 × 4 m bay offers a generous 16 m² per horse, enough room for movement, feed storage, and gear, all in a clean connected line.
When more space is needed, the same frame expands seamlessly into six or eight bays, or connects directly to a tack room or feed bay without structural rework.
No slab? No problem. This system installs straight onto turf or compacted ground, adapting easily to uneven rural blocks and saving on costly earthworks.
Ply kickboards shield the frame from ground moisture and impact, making it as functional on grass as it is on concrete.
Mesh upper panels pair with solid ply lowers to maintain cross-ventilation and dust control while keeping horses visible but safely separated.
It’s a calmer, cooler environment, ideal for mixed groups, young horses, or longer recovery stays.
Installed in just two days by our in-house team, every section arrives pre-welded and precision-aligned for consistent load distribution and long-term strength.
The result: a high-quality build that stands up to Samford Valley’s humidity, use after use, season after season.
Perfect for breeders or spelling properties needing four safe, separate boxes for mares, weanlings, or horses on rest.
Mesh tops allow airflow and supervision while maintaining separation, and the 4 × 4 m footprint gives room for longer stays or rehab.
When numbers grow, the same line extends to six or eight bays without structural rework.
Ideal for owners managing horses, ponies, donkeys, or goats in one facility. Each bay can be fitted differently inside while sharing the same low-maintenance, steel-framed backbone.
The 2.5 m height, ply panels, and mesh tops handle kicks, chewing, and ventilation, without needing a full custom barn build.
Compact yet efficient, this setup gives trainers or small agistment operators four individual stables for higher-value horses.
The straight 16 m run keeps feeding, rugging, and checks quick along one face, while the modular layout leaves space for a future tack or feed bay at either end.
A natural upgrade from shelters to your first “proper” stable line.
Built straight onto grass or a simple base now, and ready for future add-ons, from slabs and yards to a second line opposite for a true centre-aisle layout.
It’s a start-small, scale-smart approach that keeps ownership practical and future-proof.
One of the biggest advantages of the 4-bay modular line is how easily it adapts. Each structure is a framework you can grow, refine, and tailor to the way you actually use your property.
Upgrades like these prove how modular systems evolve over time. Each improvement builds on the original frame, extending the stable’s lifespan and comfort without redesigning from scratch. It’s the practical path to long-term ownership, future-ready from day one.
Add a matching 4 × 4 m bay at one end to create a dedicated tack or feed room. Lockable doors, shelving, and rodent-proof bins keep gear organised and close at hand, cutting daily setup time and clutter.
Install rotating feed hatches or hay doors on stall fronts. Feed from the aisle without entering each bay, speeding up routines and reducing stress for handlers and horses alike.
Upgrade to top-opening Dutch doors for ventilation and natural light while keeping the lower gate secure. Anti-rear sliders prevent injury or escape in high-energy or rehab bays, a small change that adds real peace of mind.
Choose matte black or custom powder-coat colours to match your homestead or shed. Add Colourbond roof extensions for a seamless visual tie-in and improved weather protection.
