This Scenic Rim stable project transformed an underused rural shed into a fully enclosed, high spec stable block.
Four 4×4 m modular stalls (with enhancements) and a central breezeway deliver airflow, safety, and a clean, modern finish that fits the property’s style.
Every panel and anchor was precision-fit on site for a clean, secure base, exactly what you need if your shed slab isn’t perfectly level. Reinforced mesh, full-height ply kickboards and Dutch doors combine practical strength with architectural detail.
The matte-black steel frame isn’t just for looks, it’s built for weather, wear, and real use. Powder-coated structural steel keeps its edge through rain, dust and daily knocks, staying sharp and low-maintenance long after lighter systems fade or rust.
Clean X-brace geometry and consistent black detailing give the block a bold, architectural look that reads as intentional design from the driveway. It’s modern, cohesive and tough enough for daily use, form and function in balance.
Generous bays give horses room to move, while external Dutch doors and internal swing-mesh gates let owners control airflow, light and access from both sides. Full-width openings turn the breezeway into one large, usable space for handling, vet work or cross-ventilation when needed.
A retrofit awning roof convert what was once an open shed into a weather-tight, storm-ready stable block. Water falls where it should, keeping the breezeway dry and functional through QLD’s summer downpours.
Heavy-duty mesh and ply kick panels protect horses and structure alike while maintaining visibility and airflow. Panels were custom-fit on site for a flush, gap-free finish that’s safe underfoot and visually precise.
