This client came to us with a clear need, a strong, practical stable setup for large horses, and everyday use on a busy rural block. They didn’t want fluff or fiddly extras. Just a solid build with ventilation, good access, and a frame that could handle the Queensland elements.
We delivered a two-bay modular system, each bay measuring 5m x 5m. That oversized footprint means better movement, more storage space, and a safer layout for bigger horses. Whether it’s feed bins, tie-ups or a future tack fit-out – this layout’s ready for it.
This setup was all about function. Installed directly onto a compacted road base, it’s already slab-ready if the client wants to concrete later. We used a fully welded steel frame, 2.5m roof height, and ply kickboards to create a safe, durable space. Mesh tops help airflow and visibility – especially important in hot and humid climates.
