Returns and Warranty Policy
At Guerilla Steel, we take pride in manufacturing premium, Australian-made steel horse stables and shelters, built to your exact specifications. Every structure is carefully crafted for strength, durability, and comfort — designed to withstand harsh Australian conditions.
Because our products are custom-built to order, they are not eligible for returns or refunds for change of mind once production has commenced. This ensures every stable is made specifically for your needs and to the highest standards.
Our Commitment to Quality
We are committed to delivering products that meet or exceed your expectations. Our team follows strict quality control processes, and every stable is inspected before it leaves our facility.
Cancellations
- A cancellation fee of 20% of the total project/service fee will apply
Cancellations made after work has commenced but before completion:
- A cancellation fee of 40% of the total project/service fee, or
- the value of all work completed to date (whichever is greater), will apply.
Cancellations made once the service/project is substantially completed:
- Up to 100% of the total project/service fee may be charged, depending on the amount of work already completed.
Disclaimer
Maintenance of Painted Welds
This may include:
- Regular inspection for signs of corrosion, cracking, or coating degradation
- Touch-up painting or recoating as required
- Ensuring weld areas remain clean, dry, and free from contaminants
- Promptly addressing any damage caused by impact, weather exposure, or misuse
Failure to maintain painted welds in accordance with recommended practices may result in premature deterioration.
No warranty is provided for defects or corrosion arising from lack of maintenance, environmental exposure, or external damage.
Outstanding Accounts
Please note that any all costs incurred in collecting outstanding accounts will be charged to the customer. This includes but not limited to legal fees, collection agency fees and court costs. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
If There’s a Problem with Your Order
Damaged or Defective Products
If your stable arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We require:
- Photographic evidence of the damage or defect
- A detailed description of the issue
Once received, our team will promptly assess the situation. If we determine the problem is due to a manufacturing fault or damage during our delivery, we will repair or replace the affected components at our discretion.
If delivery is arranged by the customer or carried out by a third-party courier not organised by Guerilla Steel, we are unable to accept responsibility for any damage that occurs during transit.
Installation Guarantee (if installed by Guerilla Steel)
For installations carried out by our team, we guarantee our workmanship. Any issues caused by installation will be rectified by our crew.
DIY Kits – Customer Support
If you choose our flat-pack DIY kit option, we provide:
- Comprehensive assembly guides
- Full phone support during business hours
Important: Proper site preparation by the customer is essential to ensure correct installation and product longevity.
Warranty
Our stables are covered by a Manufacturer’s Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions. This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or incorrect installation (including inadequate site preparation)
- Modifications or repairs not performed by Guerilla Steel
- Defects or corrosion arising from lack of maintenance, environmental exposure, or external damage.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is in addition to the rights and remedies provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.
You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure, and
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
