Maintenance of Painted Welds

The longevity and appearance of painted welds depend on proper maintenance and environmental conditions. While all welds are prepared and coated to industry standards at the time of completion, painted weld surfaces naturally experience wear, corrosion, and coating breakdown over time. It is the client’s responsibility to implement an appropriate maintenance schedule to preserve the integrity of the finish.
This may include:
  • Regular inspection for signs of corrosion, cracking, or coating degradation
  • Touch-up painting or recoating as required
  • Ensuring weld areas remain clean, dry, and free from contaminants
  • Promptly addressing any damage caused by impact, weather exposure, or misuse

Failure to maintain painted welds in accordance with recommended practices may result in premature deterioration.

No warranty is provided for defects or corrosion arising from lack of maintenance, environmental exposure, or external damage.
